Yeah - I have huge affection for RTD - he brought the franchise back, and he introduced some amazing lore, but there were some right clangers along the way. And that's okay - if you take risks, then it isn't always going to pan out.

I hate the Doctor's use of the word genocide - it' s not genocide, they are not a race, they are the survivors of a hideous experiment. Killing them is awful, and brutal and wrong - an atrocity even, but it devalues the word to describe this as genocide imo
