Thought this episode was just okay. Not a fan of the whole recording being in the arrow he used to disarm Laurel's dad. Felt way too convenient and abruptly ended that storyline with not real sense of satisfaction. Laurel is a frustrating character because she's still bitchy even after allowing Oliver into her apartment which was basically "okay, I guess we can be cool and civil". I get where she's coming from but way to send mixed signals because she runs into his arms after the assassination attempt. It's... frustrating because you want to sympathize with her but she doesn't make it easy.

2020-05-19 15:25:16 +0000 UTCWhen I first watched Arrow, it was already a couple of seasons in, so I absolutely binged the first two seasons :) I dont think Laurel is 'okay with' anything really - I think she has very complicated feelings towards Oliver and her sister. I think she may have had a different response to him had he returned sooner. It's been five years after all. Great reaction :)
