2020-12-03 05:10:30 +0000 UTCI really like this third season from start to finish, it has a lot of intensity in each episode and it rises in crescendo, this time, the kidnappings are increasing, many deaths, mysteries still to be solved, the alphas that try to mysteriously prepare for the Dark Druid, Boyd's death is gruesome, forcing Derek to do so, making him guilty of murdering a being he loves and created. Scott's eyes confirming a change in his being by becoming a true Alpha. And all this without losing humor in certain situations. I think Stiles should have told his father everything because at least he would be able to understand what is happening and protect himself. It stings my eyes to always see this slow motion during the fight scenes and that they cut with other scenes to increase the intensity and make the wait for the fight and its resolution last, but hey we have to deal with it, to be honest, this is my only negative point so far. Can't wait for you to see the sequel David each episode to come has many surprises in store for you.

2020-11-24 07:05:47 +0000 UTCyea boyd definitely deserved better. he wasn’t even necessarily a background character, since he was apart of derek’s, a main character, pack and really began to favor scott, the main protagonist, a lot since scott seemed to always want to do the right thing, compared to derek who doesn’t. he could even be considered apart of the main group, but he just wasn’t shown or fleshed out enough. neither him or erica deserved to die (she only died bcuz the actress had got another role) but those two killings, and more things you’ll learn as the season goes on, shows just how ruthless the alpha pack really is. mainly, kali and deucalion. and, yes, alphas do take the power of another werewolf, specifically one in their pack, if they killed them. so derek gained boyd’s power and how kali is much stronger than derek in every aspect will be explained pretty much in the next episode.

2020-11-24 06:07:39 +0000 UTCGreat reaction man, and a lot of your questions are great ones and like Amberlynn and Owen stated yes Kali is significantly stronger than Derek because she killed off her pack just like the rest of the Alphas.....but these next few episodes continue to pick up the pace with the exception of the next on, which is still a great episode because it gives you information on the teen wolf lore which may also answer future questions!!!!

2020-11-24 05:55:24 +0000 UTCOne thing you definitely don't have to worry about is the suspense dipping. Starting with this season, the show really gets it's stride as far as building things up go. It's one of the reason why this season is considered the turning point for the show. They're definitely trying to get Derek to kill his pack and join the Alpha pack. And yes, Kali's stronger because she's absorbed the werewolf "spark" or "power" from members in her previous pack. I don't want to go into this too much because they talk more about this/the Alpha pack in upcoming episodes, but they did briefly mention this much already. When Boyd died, Derek's eyes glowed brighter, which was supposed to be him absorbing Boyd's spark. Boyd's death hurt me too first few times around for the same reason. Even Erica got a little more love/backstory before she died, but they've always made Boyd seem like a loner. He even said that Erica was his only friend (back in the episode where that JROTC kid was killed), so that could be why Boyd never got the texts. He and Erica were pawn characters pretty much. There's only 5 episodes left of 3A and they keep this same feeling going. The next episode isn't as action-packed as this one, so to speak, but it's a really important one and I have a feeling you're going to really enjoy it nonetheless. Thanks for another great reaction! 2020-11-24 05:48:50 +0000 UTCYes, your assumption is right. Kali is stronger because she killed off her pack. Like they said when an alpha kills a beta, the beta’s power is added to their own. Also Kali being in a pack full of alphas gives her even more strength. I can’t wait for you to react to the rest of the season, if you like this episode, you’ll love the rest. Also I personally did not favor the last episode, but Episode 5 is one of my favorites. I agree with Boyd’s character, there was so much potential but he is gone too soon:
