Also her performance was a bit tone deaf considering she was sending the message that she was oppressed in a room full of people of color... like..... but anyways definitely one of the weaker episodes of this season and one of the ones I skip on rewatch. Most of the storylines were either cringe or just uninteresting, the only one I like is the Jesse storyline & that one had the least amount of screen time. Really excited for your next reaction though, one of my faves.

The pregnant girls doing the dances I loved cause my friends who were pregnant in high school liked dancing and this was one of there favorite songs. Anyway pucks voice is amazing he’s probably my favorite male singer next to Kurt. Finn I still don’t care for lol sorry anyone who likes Finn. I have the opposite idea of you I think the episodes with the least amount of Rachel are my favorites. For me she doesn’t add much to the show, but that’s just my opinion. Although I’m surprised you weren’t annoyed about Rachel getting egged I don’t like her and even I was like what a bunch of jerks. Anyway great reaction can’t wait for the next one :)

2020-07-23 07:12:45 +0000 UTCHonestly, for me this episode peaked with the Jesse St. Greatness number at the beginning. I agree with the comments above that Quinn's voice was all wrong for that song. And while I can objectively acknowledge that Matthew Morrison has a good voice, the performances they give him in this show have me cringing more often than not. It's like they're always designed to have Schuester come off as "sexy" or "cool" and the vast majority of the time it feels to me either try-hard-y, awkward, inappropriate, or all 3 at once - I actually have to look away from the screen from secondhand embarrassment whenever they do this, lol. I much prefer when they just let him have fun singing, like in the duets they gave him with Neil Patrick Harris or Kristin Chenoweth.

2020-07-23 06:10:05 +0000 UTCGlee is really a show that doesn’t have ONE genre. It’s a drama, its a comedy, it’s a teen show, it’s a musical, it’s a pop culture phenomenon. I think it’s great that the song you liked the least in the episode was the one “true” funk number, it just reinforces that you don’t really like funk music. Super excited for the next episode also side note: I love that you like mike chang (he’s my personal fav). His actor, Harry Shum Jr. was a professional dancer before he joined glee. He danced backup on tours and music videos for a lot of famous singers, Beyoncé, JLo and Mariah Carey to name a few.
