Clark, when has the farm ever been a safe place?

2022-01-01 07:18:41 +0000 UTCI'd actually kinda of forgotten about this particular ep, but on rewatch it's pretty good! That ending was pretty dark 😬 . Yeah Lionel was definitely the best TV villain I'd seen on network television at that time, definitely on the CW at least lol. The writing for him is great but it's John Glover's delivery which makes him so menacing and unsettling IMO. He previously played the Devil in a briefly lived 90's TV show called Brimstone and he voiced the Riddler in Batman: The Animated Series, so you could say he primed to play this role.

2021-09-10 03:15:58 +0000 UTCOne of my personal favourites. You got your wish though. Adam wasn't just a villain. He had layers and was just a desperate man not an evil one even though he committed evil acts.

2021-09-09 13:22:57 +0000 UTCWow never knew all that. I am so glad though they didn't add batman to the smallville mix. That would be for me (not that I know much about it though) another multiverse .. thing. And I personally hate the multiverse. Don't even get me started on how I feel they ruined the point of this show with a certain sequence that happened in another show. So Adam was a perfect season 3 villain.

2021-09-09 13:21:50 +0000 UTCGr8 reaction bruv. The more i watch these reactions the more i realize how good these eps really are. Dude the fact that were 3/4ths done with the season but arguably every ep after this will be fire is so awesome.

2021-09-09 08:20:15 +0000 UTCNow that the Adam Knight arc is over I can now talk in great detail whom we thought it was and how disappointment most of us were that he just became disposable villain number 69. There was a wild theory going on about him and it got the better of us in the end. We all thought he was a young Bruce Wayne. There were many Easter eggs that were sprinkled that we thought they were clues. We knew he was at the right age when he decided to leave Gotham and go by a different name and wonder the world. Our first clue was in his name. We thought Adam Knight was his alias in which the writers chose Adam for Adam West the TV Batman and his last name Knight for the Dark Knight. In his wrong we all thought there was a picture or in print in his wall that looked like a bat symbol. His background status was that he was an orphan that had martial arts skills and knew computer hacking and played the piano which gave the impression he came from a wealthy family. Up to this point he had no interactions with Clark and therefore we all thought it was young Bruce Wayne. I don't know if the writers made that intentional but it made the internet speculate. At the same time there were rumors of a new Batman movie (Batman Begins) and is why the theories went wild.
