I'm with you. I don't like Richard and Emily enough to care/like their wedding. I liked that Rory went after what she wanted even though I also find Logan to be entitled. I liked Luke telling Logan to get off Rory and getting mad at Christopher since Luke really was more of a father figure to Rory and there for her life.

2021-09-15 04:57:17 +0000 UTCChris is irredeemable to me after this. You know she's in love with Luke, you know she's like the ONLY friend you have and you decide to turn up at this wedding to get her back? No! Rory BEGGED him not to interfere with her mom's relationship and this is what he does. Who else was chanting "Go off Luke!" during the conversation with him and Chris? He was 100% right. He's been a father figure to Rory for years and he's never let her down, while Chris almost always let's her down. I can't believe Emily knows Lorelai is thinking of marriage with Luke and she does this?! It's infuriating.

2021-09-14 22:26:26 +0000 UTCI really like that part about Logan - he never pretends to be anything he's not. He is entitled, but he sees that. He is not interested in committed relationships, but he owns that. At this point if Rory wants more than what he said he'll give her that's on her.

2021-09-14 19:16:11 +0000 UTCI agree. You were happy that Emily and Richard got back together, but that's it and what Emily did to Lorelai was so effed up, it's not even funny. Imagine driving your daughter away so that she didn't talk to you for 16 (!) years and then making the exact same mistakes all over again, after she gave you a second chance and repaired your relationship. Besides, Emily knew how much Lorelai has been hurt by Christopher and the many times he left her high and dry and she still thinks that HE is the man for her? Like seriously? Even if Lorelai were to choose him, Christopher would just find a new reason to leave her bc that is who he is - unreliable and selfish.

2021-09-14 19:14:43 +0000 UTCI had always been on Lorelaiโs side with regards to Richard and Emily since the pilot where Emily basically humiliated her at the first Friday night dinner. So watching this back then I was pretty much indifferent to the vow renewal. It was weird seeing the grandparents apart so I was Glad they worked their crap out but that was it. I wasnโt crying tears of joy or anything, especially considering how Emilys been acting towards Luke. The ending of this episode PISSED ME OFF. I was as upset as Lorelai. Never been a fan of Chris so I hated all of this weirdness. How can a grown ass man be so childish, Iโll never understand. Rory and her thing with Logan is so awkward right now. I had to close my eyes during their dance and talk at the party. It was cringey as hell. All these years later Iโm still 50/50 on Logan.

2021-09-14 15:39:14 +0000 UTCYou missed seeing that Logan was on the seating chart when Lorelai was rearranging everything. I did like that Logan was upfront about his intentions. That he's not boyfriend material. Rory can decide what she is or isn't looking for. I'm glad he didn't pretend to be something he's not. Christopher is really annoying. He pops in whenever he wants to and to get his way. It's never on Lorelai or Rory's timing or when they need him.

2021-09-14 11:41:35 +0000 UTCI think Rory didn't pick up the signs with Christopher bc she was all in her head about Logan. Had she not been distracted, she probably would've paid more attention to it. As for what we thought when the episode aired: I was happy for Emily and Richard that they were back together, but also felt so furious about what Emily did to Lorelai. When Lorelai said she was done, I felt that. Because the thing is that Emily and Richard have been asking for a second chance with them for years and Lorelai just didn't believe that they could change and then she finally gave into it bc she thought at least now her parents would care about them in a real way (even though they're super entitled and conservative), but here right now Emily ruined her second chance with Lorelai. She really proved to her daughter here that she hasn't changed one bit and you can feel that. Lorelai is so done.
