2021-09-22 05:19:26 +0000 UTCIn terms of power, I always think of Silas and Qetsiyah one-ing up the other. They are both really super powerful, but Silas with his psychic abilities just make him all the more impressive. But, it's really about who can get the upper hand at any given moment. I forget how much I loved this part of the season. Like, it is some pretty solid storytelling.

Problem is, when he was human he was still a witch, a supernatural being, and, as we know, all supernaturals go to the purgatory place. So to avoid that, Silas wants to destroy the purgatory altogether before he could die and join Amara in the other place. Hope this clears things up a bit. The show has so much lore, that sometimes we could get a bit lost)
