Stop hating on Erin bro, she's a precious flower lol

also the thing with erin is yeah you can say she's kind of dumb but she's so sweet and so innocent that it kind of justifies it? makes up for it? it's hard to describe. she had no childhood where she could just be a child and feel safe and loved. so she's trying to navigate being out of those situations and be in an environment where she is free to feel safe and loved. i know the office is a silly comedy but there's something serious to be said about her past and her storyline and how it's a real reality for some. maybe she's exaggerated a bit for comedic effect but i've known of adults who had similar pasts to her that get thrust out into The Real World and don't know how to navigate it and pick up social cues. so while yeah she's ditzy and maybe that can annoy some viewers i always feel a bit heartbroken for her. but that's just my take.

I love this episode, Erin and Michael have a great dynamic. She might be a bit of an airhead but I absolutely love her and how much she loves basically everybody. Also, Michael was definitely more jealous than angry. How can he compete with someone who cooks in an oven? πŸ‘Œ

Creed gets the best lines in the show. Most of the time it's just one dialogue and it happens to be the funniest/weirdest one.

"Was it worth it Jim? Cause we missed it!" Does this sentiment resonate any with you?

also, we've seen dwight be good with kids in the past - the "bring your daughter to work day" he was actually really good with the kids and sang them that lovely song about their parents loving them a lot which was very sweet.

i love michael's dynamic with erin. i think it's so sweet that he just accepts the role she's kind of put him in, no questions asked

The reason why I love the scene outside with Erin and Michael is because I think in a past episode Erin said she was in a foster home and so she never really had a father, therefore she views Michael as a father figure considering he is the only man who really has authority over her. This is why she constantly seeks validation and approval from him and wants to impress him.
