Captain Holt's "wassup?" And jake's reaction to that had me screaming lmao this was such a good finale! I'm also really glad they didn't push jake and amy together too soon. Us audience loves a good slow burn 🤭 can't wait for season2! One of the best ones! NINE-NINE!

2021-10-18 09:45:14 +0000 UTCi love that at the end of season 1 of b99 you have no "new" relationships! in every tv show they try to make relationships straight away and sometimes it works but for me it's always the weakest part of shows.. i'm not a fan of lots of tv couple and it wasn't necessary to have one in s1 so they didn't do it! this finale was super good and i'm so excited for s2

2021-10-18 08:04:04 +0000 UTCso much fun seeing 10s all across the board!! such a fun/wonderful/good episode!! i love how this show takes you by surprise. you go into it thinking it'll be one thing (ex: a goofy comedy, not much carry-over in storylines, etc) and then BOOM! this has always been one of my favorite episodes! my jaw was on the floor the first time i watched it through lol so excited for you to get into season 2!

All the subplots were good, Holt revealing his smooth touch with the ladies ("they want what they can't have") was awesome. And Jake's final conversation with Amy was really beautiful. So many shows do that sort of thing badly, making the guy come off disrespectful or stalkerish, but he said everything in just the right way, and for a good reason. For me, this is the moment when Brooklyn 99 changed from a very good series to a great one. On to Season 2!
