You do realise that the dog is not a human right? No matter how well he was trained, he is still a dog and dogs eat stuff. Especially pretty coloured pills. He doesn't know what's safe and what isn't especially man made stuff like pills. The dog was left alone with the pills and ate them, because 13 didn't took the time to make sure the patient takes them and left before he did take them, the patient was distracted by Kutner and Kutner didn't know if he should take the pills or not - and was focused on his own thing. It's not complicated. And it is 13s fault, because all the later diagnostics were based on the fact that everyone thought he was treated with the pills and did not work.

Same. I think the patient fed the dog the pills, because he wanted to end his own suffering and thought that if the dog also had worms this would help his pup. He had no way of knowing that vets dont give this breed ivermectin.

The dog was not really relevant. It was just a convenient way for them to realise at the end - that dog wouldn't be likely to do it, but it only takes a second of not behaving.

I always kinda wonder if the patient attempted to dump the pills.
