People were right that eps 6 and 8 makes you cry. I didn't tear up over Sang Woo's death here. I know in the end he sacrificed himself but I'm over him by now. I didn't like that the cop and his brother didn't get much storyline. Thought there would be more to it last episode cuz it was titled the Front Man but we didn't even get a why. And then the cop just gets shot? I hope there is a season 2 and that the cop survived so we can explore that further. I also don't like that Gi-hun didn't do anything about Sae-Byeok's brother until a year later. And what about her mom? I know he was traumatized and he did lose his mom, but seriously dude? It's kinda cool that they sort of set up season 2 with him wanting to go after the whole game crew but I have no idea if he can manage that. I also sort of wished that there was a way to give some of that prize money to Ali's family though I know Gi-hun probably doesn't know anything about them or where to even start looking for them.

2021-10-22 15:38:33 +0000 UTCSo for some korean tv show recommendations, the cool thing about korean tv is that its only 16-20 episodes. A lot of their dramas just do one season and the cast and crew move on to other ideas and projects. So most shows operate under this pattern. There are a handful of tv shows that actually have second seasons, usually it involves them being funded by netflix or really popular/the cast/crew willing to come back. I've seen a ton of korean tv shows so my first and highest recommendations are always The Guest and Stranger. The Guest is just one season 16 episodes and is a horror, creepy, mystery show. One of my all time favorite shows. Stranger has a 2nd season so 32 episodes but its really entertaining and also is a more thriller, political, legal tv show. From there some popular ones are My Name (haven't watched it yet but it just came out and has some people raving about it), Sweet Home (more of a zombie suspenseful show), Prison Playbook, Strangers From Hell (if you liked Joker you might like this), Beyond Evil, Signal, D.P. If you want more recommendations let me know but there's a ton of genres all with really good TV.
