Ok I love that you're a Savage Garden fan. They're amazing! Definitely a guilty pleasure for me. Phil Collins is brilliant too. I don't know how much you read these comments but I want to recommend a guilty pleasure/musical obsession of mine because I think you'd like her a lot and she's very underappreciated. If you have the chance, definitely check out 90s Canadian pop/rock/hip-hop/soul goddess/icon Amanda Marshall. Non-Canadians seem to have not heard of her even though in the 90s Elton John (another guilty pleasure at times) did go on a talk show and say she was one of the artists he was currently (at the time) listening to. She's just extremely versatile and can go from rock ballads to hip-hop to catchy pop-rock to soul. Her voice is beast. And unfortunately she only has 3 albums so it's pretty easy to go through her discography. I have more guilty pleasures in terms of reading and rereading a lot of juvenile/YA fantasy. I love musicals and those can sometimes be guilty pleasures. I pretty much know every line of RENT. Guilty pleasure movie I will watch on repeat: Dead Poet's Society for movies Guilty pleasure shows I've watched a billion times: One Tree Hill and Revenge. Also Instant Star.

rachel's reaction is dumb but that's maybe the result of your boyfriend and your 2 besties all lying to you! i hate how they made santana and kurt the good guys that protected their friend and finn the savior of her ex like excuse me? it's between rachel and brody only?? we saw how this show handled rachel wanting to do a topless scene so i for sure knew they were not gonna handle the escort situation well! it almost looks like glee was written by 40 years old men, oh well...

the conversation of separating the art from the artist is only bc people don't want society seeing them as supporting criminals, it's actually super selfish. you do you but i'm for sure not supporting and celebrating any abuser! to some extend i will support people like oh yeah she's a diva or he's a cheater but i seriously draw the line to crimes! you won't catch me listening to predators, killers, pedophiles... but i guess that's only you and your conscience that can decide what you do... i hated how jake talked about whitney, rihanna and britney like yes, we need one more man blaming victims and not the actual abuser

My guilty pleasure is definitely America's Next Top Model. It's such an insane, messed-up show that scarred many young women for life, but it is undoubtedly entertaining. Like, they created TELEVISION with that show. The antics! The drama! The competition! It's insanely addictive. I have watched 22 cycles (seasons) in total (There are 24 of them, so... yeah lol). I have watched many of them a few times over. I'll admit, this was an extremely enjoyable episode because, to me, it went back to the show's roots about singing bringing happiness and joy to them and helping them through rough times. Seeing the cast doing Mamma Mia, WHAM!, Phil Collins, Spice Girls, Barry Manilow, etc. was just a lot of fun. I loved Blam this episode - I'm glad they went a respectable route with them but it upsets me that they couldn't just do the same with Blaine and Tina. Regardless, Against All Odds is a standout performance to me. It's no coincidence that Blaine/Darren has had two live performances on this show and they have both been emotionally charged. He's just so good at balancing the emotion and the performance of it all. The Rachel approach to Brody was terrible. I get why she's upset. He was dishonest to her about a big part of his life, something that could directly affect him. But, I hate that they are writing it off as Brody being a manwhore. Sure, people in sex work can enjoy their work, but also, he is clearly doing it to support himself. But, they're going the route of him being a bad/creepy person, and I hate it so much. ***Content Warning for Violence Against Women, Abuse and Pedophilia*** *sigh* I feel like every time there is a conversation about separating the art and the artist, I always have the unpopular opinion. I think it is a bigger issue than what was talked about in this episode for 15 or so minutes. The thing with Chris Brown, is that I don't think being abusive is a "mistake" and when something of that magnitude happens, it cannot be an isolated incident. One of Chris Brown's exes STILL has an active restraining order against him for stalking and abuse and who knows what else. Also, the episode did a good job of making it not just about what we now call "the incident." He has had more extreme public showcases of violence at the time this episode aired, and has had a antagonistic Twitter presence, including making fun of a woman, who just went through a su*ide attempt. I'm not saying all of this to shame anyone for liking Chris Brown, do what you want to do, I just think that the girls in this episode, and many people who might be upset with their partner listening to Chris Brown, that they are valid. I think that it could show a lack of respect to women, especially survivors of abuse. I didn't like how they made it about being a good role model, because it really isn't about that at all. It's about what is acceptable behavior vs. what is not. We should be able to cross the line at things like abuse. Just look at R. Kelly. For years, people knew that he was a pe*ophile, but said that we should be separating the art from the artist. However, his music was literally about having sex with underaged girls... so... we can't seperate the artist from the art. If we can do that with R. Kelly, I think it is reasonable to do so with other people who have abused women. I hated the comparisons to Rihanna and Whitney, both people were in public volatile relationships (Whitney moreso was shamed for her drug usage and addiction) but it all just sounded like victim blaming to me, which rubbed me the wrong way. And here I go again, ruining the comment section by getting too serious... Oops! Kitty... I hate that they're trying to make her seem harmless, when everything she is saying is SO harmful to trans women and makes me upset that they're just writing it off like that.

And that is on anything being it movies shows músic etc. Also, that creep cover gives me chills all the time

Norma Serrano Ibarra

Glee is for sure my guilty pleasure... this show is a mess and not anything I'd watch with a group lol

i really dislike how they handled the "high school" characters in this season... at first you saw a lot of brittany + her relationship with sam/santana and then she completely disappeared for some episodes and now she's back? tina had one horrible storyline this season and now we're back to basically nothing... now we're focusing on blaine, sam, ryder, unique, kitty and marley/jake but what about tina, artie, brittany.. and joe and sugar are just here and then disappear for 3 episodes like??? i know you can't have all storylines at the same time since you also need to talk about new york but it's annoying seeing some favorites characters that have been here since the beginning being treated like that and giving all the spotlight to others.. right now they're definitely wanting us to love blaine and sam but it even feels a little too much.. and i thought we would have had enough of the gay guy crushing on his straight friend but i guess not... ryder really is not doing it for me, marley, i know she's a sweet girl but she's just boring to me tbh... i love jake but right now he just looks like a prop to marley's storyline.. at least kitty is finally starting to change so that's nice

Last comment from me lol. Music from the Disney kids show "Phineas and Ferb" is my guilty pleasure. Music on that show was GREAT. I thought this at 11 and still feel this way almost turning 21 GTHYHHBSXYHWXHYSHX

I'm glad they made that random girl stand at the door during Jake's solo. If this Glee Club was at my school I would be watching a lot of their great performances at that door too.

Mrs Payne

My guilty pleasure would be Cardi B. I say I hate her music but I always find myself dancing along to her music alone if it comes on in a playlist.

Mrs Payne

I love it too, I watch it with my kids now. What did don’t you like about the later seasons(if you don’t mind me asking)?

Kathryn Cottam

I pretty much loved all the songs in this one, I mean who doesn't like guilty pleasure songs? Both Brody and Rachel deserved a better storyline. Relationships should have an effect on the characters and it really sucks that they resolved it this way where Rachel isn't reflecting on anything they went through, but only remembers that he was an escort as if that gives her absolution to not think about it. And I can't get over her saying "Finn came all the way here to do that?". Didn't Rachel yell at Finn in The Break Up and had a whole monologue saying she's a grown woman and doesn't want him making decisions for her?? And I know it's a detail but I love how they all still had their glee club meetings without Mr Shue and just had fun for a whole week.

My guilty pleasure is singing High School Musical songs at the top of my lungs when I’m driving to work. I’m 27 years old 😅😅

1. MY JAW DROPPED WHEN YOU SAID U HAVENT WATCHED MAMMA MIA!!! one of my favorite movies ever and i cry every time. 2. i agree with you about the jake situation. i don’t think many singers are role models. they’re all … human? and do stupid shit. every single one. some just hide it better than others. i don’t like chris brown but i will definitely sing along to some of his songs. 3. yeah rachel doing that money shit to brody was a very low blow. he was definitely wasted talent and a wasted character:/ 4. i have many guilty pleasures. glee is one of them. my friends think it’s “gay” and call me that or just lame or whatever BUT IDC. i will rep glee till the day i die😭 it’s my comfort show. also watching people react or doing commentary on movies and tv shows could be another guilty pleasure for me because i would feel weird telling my friends that i pay to watch people watch a show😂 but it’s what i love and it makes me happy every time i get a notification of y’all posting one of my shows. i don’t know. thank y’all! THIS COMMENT WAS PROBABLY LONG AF OKAY BYE

Ironically my guilty pleasure is my love of Glee. My friends and family do not like the show and they mock it. But I have a special love for the show, especially the first three seasons. So it is nice to be in this little community. Even when I do not like some of the things that happen in the later seasons, and honestly this show didn't age well in a lot of ways, I will always love it..
