Not gonna lie, I almost skipped this reaction cuz I just HATED the way Claire's family bullied her here. Like, seriously?? Her husband pushed her into an entire display to make way for a pretty woman and not only doesn't he apologize but he keeps teasing her for always wanting to be right, even when he didn't need to be a part of the conversation when she was interacting with Lily? And he got the kids to make fun of her, all ganging up on her? Yeah, no thanks. And no one apologized to her at the end, either. They turned it into Claire's fault, making it a 'sickness' that she always had to be right. Well, you jerks, she WAS right. Who treats their wife and mother that way? They don't deserve Claire. Sorry I ranted, but this episode always has me feeling pissed at Phil and the kids. Definitely my least fav Modern Family episode. The only thing that saved it was Gloria.

I do feel that, in confirming how Claire needs to be right, we never got closure on how Phil was, in fact, at fault in shoving her in the store. He shouldn't get away scot-free for treating her that way. The new actress for Lily this season, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, was really able to handle lines and actions from the start. Very impressive for a 4-year-old kid.
