I agree with your interpretation on Helen, I had the same feeling you did when I saw this episode didn't make sense based on what we saw in season 2. However I have seen the opposite as well were people always thought she was going to betray Lex and Kill him.

LOL Let me finish watching this reaction which is off to a great start.

Clark is literally their only helping hand on the farm, a guy who can do the work of 10+ men. His parents on their own wouldn't be able to keep up maintenance on a farm that feeds the entire town.

2021-05-21 10:22:36 +0000 UTCWith Helen, remember that you don't know her very well. Remember also the first time we meet her she's in anger management, and that she was suspected of a number of things during season 2. So we don't know her that well to be too shocked of her betrayal.

2021-05-21 10:18:40 +0000 UTCI know people keep saying season 9 - and it's probably due to it being mythology-heavy. But season 3 is a pretty perfect season in my book. Also season 6 (but that is more a guilty pleasure for me) - as well as season 4.

2021-05-21 07:38:52 +0000 UTCI'm loving the frequency of the uploads, I'm watching a lot of your reactions, but Smallville's been my favourite! I'm glad you are liking it too =) I actually think most of the seasons have some amazing episodes and some medium ones, but the most consistently good is maybe season 9, I can't remember a bad episode there. I also love the route that this season 3 goes for in the latter episodes. I think the reason they are losing the farm is because Clark is not working there, he is like 10(or much more) employees on one, they can't afford paying that, so the debt piles up
