2021-05-26 17:00:33 +0000 UTCI loved the Alec and Magnus scenes. Oh Simon, love his scenes. Jace notices Simon is different and a Mundane really shouldn’t have been able to pull that knife on Jace like that Just like in the last episode, Alec noticed Simon could see the rune warding when a Mundane shouldn’t have and Clary was like what work out have you been doing when he hopped the fence so easily. Yes the Circle is bad. I think they started out as like an idealistic young let’s change the Clave (Shadowhunter government). Valentin just went crazy balls and some of the Circle followed him to crazy town. Another important part we learn is not only was Luke a Shadowhunter but Valentin was his parabatai. Valentin is the reason Luke is a werewolf and no longer a Shadowhunter. He literally threw Luke to the wolves thinking he would die. That’s why Valentin was calling him an abomination when they were fighting and Valentin was going to kill him. Which is wild because Valentin is calling him an abomination and is the reason he’s a werewolf in the first place. See Valentin is bat ish crazy.

2021-05-26 01:47:21 +0000 UTCMagnus and Alec! Yes! Even the Jace/Simon scenes were fun to watch. Everything else in this episode, I didn't care for. In terms of the ending, Clary didn't mean to do that, but she touched it and it got sketched into the paper. The flashback that they show is a callback to the first episode. Clary accidentally did that to her biscotti, if you remember. She then asks if this is something that can be inherited - being able to make real objects into sketches - meaning she believes she got that from her mother. When Luke says yes, this leads me to believe that she must have seen the drawing of the Mortal Cup, somewhere, that she assumed was just a drawing, but it's actually the real thing!
