On the issue of Sam wanting a normal life, I think that’s an interesting concept to look at but I will always take issue with him not searching for Dean when Dean vanished in a puff of smoke. He might have thought Dean was dead and had a breakdown but without a body I can’t imagine him not chasing every lead and instead settling down with a girl. But we do get more flashbacks as the season goes on that sheds more light.

2021-05-26 10:28:21 +0000 UTCI think Eleanor gets treated pretty lightly in this episode. She wasn’t involved in the murders but she knew her husband had been killing 2 people a year for hundreds of years. That’s a huge body count to ignore. I know they were in love but that’s still a hell of a lot of innocent blood she ignored. And I also feel sorry for the transplant victims too, they didn’t ask for that originally, they just needed a life saving operation. But for a motw episode I think it’s a cool concept.
