2021-05-27 19:44:49 +0000 UTCAlso as has been said in other comments, this season was definitely stretched but that's bc the network kept changing its mind about the length of season 3. so there was no real possibility to map out the season in a good way and that's one of the many reasons why we're glad Lucifer ended up on netflix - now the seasons are shorter, but very focused and it still feels very much like Lucifer but we go more into the characters and the fun, good stuff of the show. season 4 for instance is my favorite season bc of that.

2021-05-27 10:03:05 +0000 UTCThis is still my favorite episode of the entire series. Just because so much big stuff goes down while also hitting all the emotional beats for all the characters. I agree with everyone saying that the netflix seasons are even stronger. So glad that they decided to pick it up, after we pretty much flodded the internet when fox cancelled the show after THAT episode.

2021-05-27 08:24:14 +0000 UTCAlso if you want to know why this season was so long ....its because there was originally 22 episodes for season 2 instead of the 18 that was aired...the 4 extra episodes were spread out this season...2 of the episodes from season 2 were Mr and Mrs Mazikeen Smith and Vegas with some Radish..it was all Fox's fault. It made for uneven season unfortunately..

It upset all the viewers including me..lol....even the producers of the show and cast were shocked and found out when the viewers did. I remember Tom Ellis was at a convention for Lucifer when he found out. The producers had no idea the show would be cancelled because it still had decent ratings and thats why they left it on this big cliffhanger because they thought for sure it would be picked up. The two bonus episodes were just dropped because they were going to be filler episodes for season 4...and fox didn't know what to do with them so just dropped them to appease the upset fans. Fox most likely cancelled the show because it was owned by Warner Brothers and Disney was about to purchase Fox.
