2022-02-27 02:03:13 +0000 UTCI don't think anyone LIKES Monique, but the ancestors kept on speaking about the importance of the harvest and how all four girls would come back, so, of course she wants to see that through completion. It is really her only purpose. It's what was promised to her as a devout believer. Also, I completely forgot about the Esther twist at the end! And so thrilled that Yusuf Gatewood making his first appearance. He is a tour de force!

2022-01-20 13:56:57 +0000 UTCDavina didn't just want revenge because Klaus killed Tim. It was also because he was going around hurting the people that she loved (Marcel and Josh) and she couldn't do anything about it. And like Davina said at the end of the episode, she wants Mikael to punish Klaus.

I also thought bringing Rebekah back to look after Hope was perfect and touching. Especially, because she's always wanted a child of her own

It's a callback to when Tyler kidnapped Hayley earlier in the season and changed Dwayne into a hybrid with Hope's blood while Hayley was still pregnant. It's also a parallel to TVD when Klaus was trying to make hybrids with His and Elena's blood. (Die w/ Klaus' blood in their system and awake in transition to then drink Elena's blood to be fully transformed into a hybrid). Now that Hope was born a Hybrid, you have to drink from her both times. Before death and after transition – to be a hybrid.
