Honestly, I kind of wish that they would have kept Anna. She could have been a great character if she stayed on the show? Felix? Meh - I never liked him but they could bring him back to play a minor antagonist idk, but Anna seemed like she had so much story to tell, especially since she just came out. I honestly think it was because audiences weren't ready for a bisexual Latina to be a recurring character, so they just wrote her off. So many shows only see gay characters for their coming-out stories and then discard them, and honestly, it feels like that is exactly what happened with Anna. Also, I'm sorry... that Luke and Dan scene was gold. I am really rooting for Lucas to take down Dan, even if it does seem unlikely.

I actually like this comment about how she doesn't know how to be both a good wife and a success musician - it's actually such a common thing and there are like tons of songs written about it lol

I Am Not Chamari

I thought people where just exaggerating and just looking for validation from the reactor, like usual, but my god, half of the reaction time he is on his phone =)))))))))))))

Sure Haley has made bad choices w how she went about things but it makes sense. I love Nathan and sympathize but let's be real, Nathan has dependency issues w Haley. It can be overwhelming for anyone let alone a 16 yr old high school student who has never been in a serious relationship and is now married. Nathan divorced his family and then convinced Haley to marry him. He needed that family support. He got that from making a family with Haley. Something he was doing primarily for himself. If she needs to do this for herself to figure things out, then good. Probably shouldn't get married before both ppl know who they are and what they want. No matter the age. It will either be epic or a disaster. We shall see.

I think they're trying to show that Haley is very insecure about the whole marriage, especially now that she might have a career in music. She doesn't know how to be both - a good wife and a successful musician. I think she has to go through this journey of figuring out what she wants. But yes, she can't expect Nathan to wait for her while she does. He is totally valid in his hurt and he needs to learn the lesson that he can't depend on Haley to live a good life either. They both need to grow individually and that's what this season is about for them. Nathan finally understood that this episode and that's why he deleted the message - he needs to focus on himself rn.

I think Jake was running out of time - and options. He has a plan (no spoilers) and part of that plan was entrusting Whitey with his kid bc as he explained very well Nikki can't be trusted with Jenny for months. But he also promised not to run again, so he's turning himself in while also making sure Jenny is safe from Nikki's harm.

On the Coyote Ugly topic, yes the song is played in the movie and they also dance on the bar. It's a great, fun film. I was obsessed with it as a kid. Honestly still love it today. A guilty pleasure for sure!

The situation with Nathan and Haley is complicated. The point is that everyone can deal in different ways, and I really love that is taking Nathan so many episodes and so many different coping mechanisms in order to get on with his life. You have the initial drinking, then anger, than desperation (the wedding scene), then bargaining (where he went to see Haley to basically say he will do anything including staying with her on tour to be together) and then to other girls (including a touch of revenge since Taylor is her sister), then maybe to acceptance? (no spoilers - the next episode is awesome). The Anna thing I think was handled sensibly, realistic. And she left to be with the other girl as much as she did to go back to the person she was there. I really loved the conversations between Lucas and Dan, that was so good to me. The discussion about Sherlock Holmes was perfectly done.

Also it would be impossible for Jake to keep running because it would give Nikki a purpose, since it is like a game to her. And she wants to win.

Whitey is taking the baby some where out of town so that no one could find her. He is not gonna keep her. I think the point of Jake going to jail is so that Niki gives up on finding the baby. Jake knows the baby will be safe and after he gets out he could be with her without any problem cuz he knows Niki doesn't really care. She just wants to make his life impossibleπŸ˜… well, at least that's the way I see it
