I kinda feel bad for Chad (Lucas) getting to direct this episode. Let him play with the characters he knows. This episode is meh for me too. Haley sounded good and Brooke looked great and it was what it was.

It didn't add anything to the story and I am kinda glad I never really gave it a thought cuz I agree with you! It was meh, lowkey a waste of time. I will say, I loved the outfits, especially the girls were slaying! And the song Hailey sang was great, ofc her voice is stunning! Other than that, there was nothing else

2023-08-06 23:17:33 +0000 UTCI have mixed opinions about this episode, I'm not usually a huge fan of alternate universe episodes, aside from a couple, I usually find them to be a waste of time that gets in the way of the ongoing story. However, I don't like to completely hate on the episodes, because they are often creative, the cast can sometimes have a lot of fun making them and I don't want to discourage shows from taking creative risks. So, even when I don't love the episode, case in point this one, partially because I was enjoying the ongoing stories and didn't appreciate the interruption and partially because Lucas is not my favorite character, I still try not to be to negative about it.

2023-08-04 21:35:37 +0000 UTCWhile there's no "point" to this episode, I still think it's fun. It's a lot like a similar episode of Bones, and I love them both. I remember when they were filming this one. Chad was having a blast bringing his creation to life, and the entire cast seemed to have so much fun with it. This was during the beloved MySpace era and they were always posting the best stuff. I don't think every episode has to advance the plot, if that was the case, we wouldn't have some of the best BTVS or ATS episodes. π€·ββοΈ
