I still remember watching this live when it aired and truly being terrified at the fact that Chloe, knowing she isn't in the comics, was going to die. And I absolutely loved Tom Wellings acting of Clark Kent in the scene where Lightning Lad straight up said Chloe is supposed to die and Then Clark turns around with a FIERCE look and Kryptonian Grips the crap out of Garth and states what is for me Top 10 Iconic lines from smallvile "CHLOE SULLIVAN DOESN'T DIE, YOU HEAR ME". That line did wonders for me watching live as a fan who was terrified she'd end up dead by the end of this ep and TBH still gave me shivers during the reaction as well.

I like that this episode nails down that Superman doesn't kill. It's written by Geoff Johns, who is a comic book writer and at one point was the Chief Creative Officer of DC.
