Nice reaction! The police not only found Lewis’s blood at the abandoned building where Anne was kept but the police said Anne identified Lewis as being one of her captors because she saw his face that one time when Tommy took his mask off after beating him up. The building and the van were owned by Ashley and in his name so that implicates him in the kidnapping. The cops also found a lot of kilos worth of weed at his caravan business so he was willing to confess about his involvement in the kidnapping of Anne and the drug trafficking so he made a deal with the cops for reduced jail time or no jail time. And yes Lewis was not very bright. I kinda felt bad for his death but yeah he brought it on himself like you said and he also did nothing to help Anne.
