Water Propagation & Longing Spell-  Honoring The Greek God Pothos

Good afternoon moon babes! This sunday I wanted to share another simple spell that can bring energy of longing, desire, sexual desire, want, and passion into your space. This is a great energy conductor or even you can make this into a ward protecting those attributes. And for this spell all you need is a pothos plant, scissors, clean water, and a vase or bottle.

We are going to be doing this spell honoring the Greek God Pothos,

It is important to remember we can venerate, honor, work with, or call down upon spirits or deities when doing spellwork. For today’s spell you do not need to be working with or currently worshiping the God Pothos, we are doing this to honor and venerate him, something you can do with a lot of spirits if you wish (as long as they are open) this often brings their energy and essence into your space and life as they are thankful for the sentiment and spiritual energy you're providing with your ritual.

Pothos is the Greek God of yearning and sexual desire, he is one of Aphrodie’s many children. We are going to be doing this in his honor and may he bless this ritual for everyone of us.

The Pothos plant itself brings us abundance, luck, they are a sign of resilience and dedication.

How to Cast:

This can be done with truly any plant, I have this done as a large scale version for abundance and wealth in my storefront and LOVE this kind of majic, if you ever walk around my home or store theres a plethora of water propagated plants, all for different spiritual spells, as the roots grow the spell does too. If you have a plant at home you want to do this with look up their scientific name and what it offers spiritually, replace those intentions with this spell and change the wording in the spell below!

You want to cleanse all of your tools, for this ritual I like sound (bells) or smoke. I find that the spirit of plants recognizes this method more and it worlds overall better. Cleanse your tools and then move to cleansing your hands with fresh clean water. Wash your hands with clean flowing water reciting the spell below

Water hand wash spell:

Water flows, a stream's gentle embrace,

I cleanse my spirit and find a tranquil space.

Cleansed,l stripped and renewed ready to embrace

The manifestations I plan to chase

Water carry any negative energy away

And keep all things that are not of my highest good at bay

Once your hands are spiritually cleansed you will want to pour clean water into a vessel for your water propagation, pray with the water that it is blessed and embued with the power and energy of Pothos and his lusty desires, once the vessel is full pour a little bit of the water into the mother plant, thanking it for sacrificing a piece of its stunning luscious leaves for this spell. Pour libations for the mother plant’s spirit that it may stay strong and abundant moving forward, saying thank you for it aiding in your spell.

Once your water offering has been given to the mother plant take your scissors and pray over them, introduce the scissors to the mother plant and thank her once again for allowing her to take some of her sacred roots. I like to spend time meditating with the plant and connecting to it’s energy, I find this makes it more potent as you move on with this new cutting. You can tell if it needs more water, if it needs to be changed, if it needs fed a candle or incense/ smoke/ alcohol ect.

As you clip the pothos plant (Do so right above a node, there are amazing videos on youtube for how to cut pothos plants for propagation if you need a reference!) Chant the spell 5 times, on the 5th and last time you chant this spell place the new cutting into your vile/jar and put in the heart of your home.
