Emergency Shit

We have dropped out of red alert status! We're going to have to keep a close eye on some stuff for the new few months, but things are as good as they can be for the moment. Thanks for everyone's understanding and well-wishes, it means a lot.

Writing Shit

Oddly enough, I did a bunch of stress writing to take my mind off of things which means I didn't actually fall that far behind? Trust me, I wasn't doing it because I felt obligated to, the energy needed to go somewhere and it just so happens that I really enjoy writing a lot. Convenient, that.

It all needs a heavy editing pass, understandably, but there should be a decent flurry of posts this week. 262 should be up tomorrow (12-24 hours from now).

Art Shit

We got our first winner for the art poll, which is everyone skydiving toward The Pit. How will that work compositionally? No idea. But it should be pretty badass, right?

I'm going to throw the (mostly) verbatim submission at an artist, alongside some descriptions pulled right from the text and let them run with it. I'll be doing my best to stay hands off and not infect it with any non-canon details. Death of the author and all that.

Along with 262 tomorrow, I'll make a new post for the second round of art submissions. I think I'd like to do a theme this week, which will be DOUBLES. What does DOUBLES mean? Two characters? Characters with at least twice as many arms as usual? Characters engaged in a team tennis match? I'm sure you folks can come up with something.
