The Matriarch takes a few seconds to adjust her pose- holding Tal's arm up with her folded leg so the crowd can see it hang limp, and using her other talon to stuff Tal's face even deeper.
Definitely a rough loss to take. Thus lies the danger of challenging the Matriarch.
