Brawn vs. More Brawn- Staredown
Added 2023-08-18 15:05:25 +0000 UTCTal'naya may have lost her title recently (to a real big Zaerine pyroblast...) but truth be told, she never cared that much for the fame and glory. She just really enjoys the wrestling itself! Pretty shortly after her championship loss, she was already back on the card for another match.
This time, she found herself across the ring from Kara Grimstone. Kara is an incredibly proud orc warrior who takes herself ABSOLUTELY seriously. She wanted to fight Tal while she still had her title, and isn't thrilled about that fact that it was someone else who knocked her down. There's no personal grudge here, the two have never fought before- but the Horde warrior is very clearly committed to dethroning Tal, specifically.
As the two squared off in the middle of the ring, Tal'naya absolutely towered over her opponent. This isn't new to her. Tal is TALL. Standing at about 6'7, the night elf is used to having a massive height and reach advantage in most of her matches. Still, though, Kara did not show a single ounce of fear. As Tal put on a smile and looked down at her foe, Kara balled her fists and grit her teeth. Tal's smile turned to a bit of a smirk. She was admittedly a bit amused by the orc's demeanor.
"Good luck, little warrior," Tal'naya spoke softly.
"I do not need luck. You are large, but you are soft," Kara grunted back through her tusks.
Tal wasn't really sure how to respond to that. She just raised an eyebrow down at her green skinned opponent, confused.
"I'd be careful with that mouth, if I were you..." the elf warned.
"I am not afraid of you."
"Well, I'd sure hope not, or this isn't going to be much of a match!" Tal giggled.
The bell rang, and the fight began.
