Ashley Williams is a soldier, through and through. The lone survivor of a geth attack on her unit, she has proven she has the skill and tenacity to be able to do what she's been trained to do. Liara T'soni, on the other hand, is a scientist. She runs tests. She explores archaeological digs. This whole life of adventure and danger is... new to her.

The solution seemed obvious. Liara came to Ashley asking for some practice. She was decent enough with a gun, you just point it and shoot it. Her biotic powers also certainly helped her survive on the battlefield. Close quarters combat, though, that was something entirely different.

The two laid down a couple mats in a quiet hold on the Normandy, ready to spar. Liara was a little nervous, but ready to learn. And Ashley, well...
