The Preview - Dundee United (a)

Rangers head to the city of discovery looking to discover some attacking form. The draw with Falkirk was the most boring game of football since well the last one.

Can they remember how to create chances? Join Kev and Stevie as they provide the preview.

Good pod gents - I'd send this to the Chairman as a warning that you cannot take the loyalty for granted and unless they front load investment with competent people making the decisions, this club will lose its customer base!

A big risk os breaking the habit of going to games and not going back

The only thing keeping crowds from hitting the floor is the Season Ticket culture. I was a daft 15 year old in 1977 when I decided I wanted to watch Rangers week in week out and from then till Souness's arrival in 1986 I missed one first team home game of any description ( I was in a car crash on the way to the game). Rangers were poor for most of that time but I caught the bug, Rangers were an addiction but I was one of a very small number. There was no Season Ticket culture to capture the support so fans disappeared like snow of a dyke because Rangers were clearly the 4th or 5th best side in the country, fans just weren't prepared to watch rubbish. I don't think we are all that far a return of these crowds of under 20k because this current squad are the poorest in my time outside of the banter years, there is no excitement watching Rangers anymore.

Stevie you were absolutely spot on with everything you said on point 1 , my wife still reminds me about paying for a season ticket and never got to the games .
