I'd argue that ryun is only really close to anrosh. The rest are on his side but I wouldn't say they are friends by any mean . It would be like saying Zach has all the wardens. If you mean just to flesh out his side of the story I see what your saying but as I see their paths merging in the future it seems a it pointless

Ryun has Reyla, Kri, Anrosh, Selia, and now Erdania, not to mention some of Reyla's family and his sect members. Zach only has Naha. She's a good character but it leaves Zach's side of the story feeling much more empty since it usually revolves around new characters who appear only for a few chapters. Hopefully he can form some meaningful connection with the third iteration ir maybe even the next iteration when it comes in
