Berry, of course, knew the football team's locker room wouldn't be completely empty, but wanted to mess with the gullible collie. Luckily for Gavin, Berry knew that the only other patrons would be their other team mates and they were bound to find out sooner or later anyways, so no real harm done.
... Still embarrassing though...
