Well June (and July) happened... and it wasn't terrible?

So goodish news. Nothing bad happened in June besides a root canal and nothing bad happened in July besides a strained leg. I feel like 2023 is trying to lure me into a sense of complacency so it can finish me off in December...

BUT a good friend named Mei is getting me writing a lot more. We started mid July. She's not in the fandom so it's an original story and so far I've been really engaged. So this is a shared story based on a long talk about aspects of HP and the wizard genre that we've put together. It's 'kid gets magic powers and goes to school' and we're kinda going from there. We'd love to have some feedback if you'd like to share.

I also have con news. I will be at Everfree on Friday afternoon to do a panel on writing groups of character... but unfortunately work scheduled a mandatory training that weekend and while I'll try to be around on Saturday and Sunday it's not that likely. BUT, I am going to be going to Ciderfest in November! So if you're going to be in Wisconsin in 2023, come say hi.

Production on Faultlines is progressing with starting areas. I hope I'll be able to share pictures soon of our starting play so you can see what the gameplay will be like!

I'm hoping to get a writing buddy for Homelands so I can do for it what I'm doing for Academy. It seems writing with someone is a lot more productive than me trying to focus myself on the chapter. It's not Mei's jam, but hopefully I can make it work. I haven't given up on the story yet.
