(I usually don't mind them unless they make no sense.) no, what I meant was, when we chat with a character, e.g. when Ethan chats with Efren, we are given the choice to ask either about the mission, diurnals, or NU. I was wondering if we can just choose at random which topic we want to talk about or if there is more to it. I hope I make sense lol.

2019-08-22 04:35:49 +0000 UTCFor some reason, it isn't allowing the game to load. When I try to open the game, the screen comes up gray and tells me that impqueen.com refused to connect. I don't know what the issue is and if it's common or how to fix it or if it's fixable at all. But I'm hoping it is something that can be fixed or whatever cuz I'm wicked excited to play this!! Thank you!

The previous romance option realllly bothered me too, but the stupid engine doesn't let me unless I write an extra bit of code and it's way too much for a very short intro, so I just left it like that. :( Checking the music asap. ;) As for the questions; 1- roughly 2 years. 2- Yes. Keelan is very unhappy with coming back to Legion. We will see a sad Keelan this season. :( 3- The icon options? It's just a way to show the player there is an event there. I'll create a tips screen and explain everything. 4- The affinity will change the ending(s). Think Bioware loyalty missions. 5- Yes. Mara is now cunning and Ethan is dark/melancholic. ;D Good catch haha.

2019-08-21 10:53:54 +0000 UTCFirst impressions: It looks so, so good! I love that we can now talk to different ppl, have a chat, and some point & click adventures. I'm also pleased with how much thought you put into Mara's and Ethan's paths and how their different loyalties dictate their actions. The library was a clever idea to provide the reader with information w/o having a character explain everything to us in a contrived way. Books are a good tool for lore insight w/o it being out of place. I also v much approve of little scenes where other characters interact with each other when we enter a room, like with Tae and Ae-ri, so it's not always just one person per room. Adds a bit of an organic touch to it. Another nice touch is how the premonition plays out based on the clues we currently have. I'm curious to see how Tora will look like after the time skip and what she thinks of the arrangement. I rly hope that this will save the game bc I'm so invested in the politics and the moral stances, it'd be a shame to see it go to waste. Some questions: How many years exactly have passed btwn NU and NU:R? Keelan is the only one who is not pleased when we want to talk to him, not even with Mara. Is that intentional? On that note, when we chat with various characters, we are given different options, but I'm not sure what to make of them yet? Clearly some go over better than others, sometimes characters are even pleased. Is that just to add some variety or do we have to guess which option pleases that particular character more? Also, sometimes it doesn't seem like it makes any difference which option we choose at all. Still a little confused here, haha. And to add on to that, does the affinity have a point to it? Will we only progress with our LI if we hit a certain amount of points like with Cardinal Cross? So it seems Ethan's default personality is "melancholic" while Mara's switched to "cunning," is that right? Some bugs I've come across: When entering the PW, it is asking for the character's name. When Ethan talks to Val asking abt the ruckus in the hangar, it displays Mara's name. When Ethan chooses not to help Val investigating the crates, his name switches to Mara's shortly. When Ethan asks Val abt the mission, it again switches shortly to Mara's name. When trying to have a chat with Ae-ri, but then clicking the "Nevermind" option, it instead follows with the dialogue as if we had chosen the first option. Even if Ethan doesn't help Ae-ri with the cooking, she says she gives us a second muffin. After Ae-ri gives Ethan the vision, it's Mara's name again. Some suggestions for your consideration: It would greatly help if you could make it visually clearer if we choose any previous romance or not. Maybe dye the background of the character/the crossed out icon red or sth? Somewhere towards the end of Ae-ri's theme music there is a notification-like sound and it always startles me for a sec, thinking it's real. xD If possible and not too much to ask, maybe cut that short part out? No biggie tho.

2019-08-20 10:26:30 +0000 UTCI loved seeing how the characters acted differently depending on if you were playing Ethan or Mara and how each of them reacted differently to conversations, it was a lot of fun! I can't wait for the full version! The only issues I ran into were occasional freezing;; but I'm pretty sure that's on my end, lol. The interactive components were nice, I love the idea of the map and the characters hanging out in different locations! I'm not sure if you mentioned it in a previous post but will Ethan be able to romance the other characters, or just Mara? This was great, thank you and keep up the great work! <3

2019-08-20 07:53:20 +0000 UTCI'm so excited for the full version of this game because it clearly has a huge amount of potential, especially with a creator who cares so much about the project. Not sure I'll be able to get over the fact that my character broke up with her LI, it definitely hurt watching them interact. The only thing that I found minorly annoying is that whenever you finished talking to someone about something you were automatically sent back to the room selection instead of having the option to select another conversation topic. I've never coded anything so it may not be worth the work to change it (if you even want to) because obviously it's not a big deal.

I'm not quite sure how I feel that each conversation ends with you being kicked back to the layout map? It's useful like when you get a task but not so much when you just want to talk on multiple subjects with the person.

I love the aspect of being able to do side quests or the main mission and talking to the other characters! I canβt wait for the full chapter!! β€οΈ AND I LOVE WHAT CREATURE YOU PICKED FOR THE M!MC!! (Donβt want to say any spoilers just yet!π)

While talking to Valerius, Mara's name comes up instead of the one I gave so I thought Mara was going to walk in but she didn't and the name reverted back to what I gave. The other error is that some of the names are cut off by the chat box. EDIT: Not sure if this is just because it's the demo for now but weren't we suppose to be able to choose the appearance of both before starting the game? Or will the MC you're not playing always be default look?

The dialogues can be read fluently. Maybe a comma is missing at one point or another. But English is not my mother tongue, so maybe it's just me. Someone else might be more helpful. π
