CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S OVER!! I am a little relieved, but mostly sad :(( it was such a great journey!! Let's watch the movies together in the future... Can't wait to start Kill la Kill in the future!

2022-08-23 22:58:20 +0000 UTCIf it helps you digest that bittersweet ending... IIRC, some details were given by the creators in an interview when the anime was over. Simon and Nia didn't get married straight away after coming back to Earth. They spent at least a week together before the wedding, and "they did what had to be done" (xD) during that time, according to them. Sorta like an early honeymoon, if you'd like to take it that way. Also, Simon never says he wouldn't be able to bring the dead back, just that "it wouldn't be right" to do so. By doing that, he proves the anti-spiral wrong: even with what's basically the power of a god by now, he (and humanity, by extension) can be responsible with it, and do the right thing. And NGL, part of me wished for Simon and Yoko to eventually find some peace together. Not exactly as a couple, but as best friends/brother-sister like they end up being. It enrages me how in a lot Japanese stories with friendship as one of the main points, many of the characters end up moving on and living their own lives. Like, WTF? You shared some amazing experiences together! Some bad ones, some others great, but why'd you choose to go alone and live in solitude when you could stay together after such deep bonds were forged? What's so bad about keeping in touch and spend time together?

2022-08-23 20:56:37 +0000 UTCI couldn't help but chuckle a little bit when they said "Simon isn't god". They were getting universes thrown at them and absorbed big bang energy attacks from their enemies. They might as well be gods with all the crazy stuff they were able to do towards the end lol

I was waiting for your reaction on this anime for really long time, and always voted for it. And yes, this anime is special, I don't think that ending was rushed, it was good, or rather I should say GREAT. Also, it seems Gainax love to torture and made feel paon for those who is watching anime that they created, with all this tragic ending, that you still call GREAT. For me this story is unique, case it show how kid became grown man, true leader who lead whole humanity into the future. Unlike Naruto, when Simin was young he never sound self confident etc, but events, his brother, Nia and other people influence help him to became great person in the end. SO yeah, I hope you will watch Wolf and Spices, my next favorite anime in your watch list. It's romantic anime, so I feel you will enjoy it a lot. But yeah, from now I will jump on waiting train. You are best reactor, who didn't overenjoy, or show fake reactions, and this made your reactions great. P.S. You really look cute when depressed after another tragic anime ending :D Guess this was best outcome :DD

Plus I just checked that you give a high score (for the whole show) than me because my score is 9/10. lol I'm very excited for Kill la Kill because I haven't seen it so I plan to watch it with you when the time comes. :)
