Te Quiero Junto A Mi (Behind the scenes)
Added 2020-06-28 15:55:44 +0000 UTCOur friends from the Growling collective in Colombia invited us to participate in their special Pride celebrations. Jose did for them an interview followed by a Dj set that was broadcasted last Friday July 26th and I did a quick music video for "Te Quiero Junto A Mi" (included on my second album "All Systems Go".
We went to a friends home to shoot it on Thursday July 25th. We got there at 17:00 and shot the clip in six takes. The original idea was to sing it live, but we didn't want to disturb that much our friend so in the end we decided to shoot a playback instead. Recording live vocals would have implied taking there more equipment and since we don't have a car of our own and also needed to take there all the lights and camera equipment on an Uber as well, it was the best we could do.
It was raining outside, but with some light tricks and camera angles we made it work. Editing took me until Saturday afternoon, and if you look closer, you'll notice one of the takes was improved on the final stages using a mate painting (love those).

We locked ourselves at home on March 13th and stayed put until last week when we went out for the first day (and took the pool pictures) and several days later for this. And took all precautions, of course. It's a new reality, it's better to be safe than sorry. Let's hope it eventually gets controlled. Hugs!
