Beautiful Nothing (2nd Demo August 2015)
Added 2020-08-01 18:28:37 +0000 UTCAs I started to tell you on the 1st demo of "Beautiful Nothing" post, I wrote this song in Madrid the first week of April 2015, then recorded the vocals with Jose in Mexico the last week of the same month.
And I kept those vocals on the hard drive trying to decide what the arrangement would sound like until August 20 2015. We had moved to the coast south of Barcelona to spend the summer and as those last six years, and my studio was set up at my ex's younger brother room, in a student desk. That morning I had a revelation and this is the demo I mixed by the end of the day. Fun fact: the picture on the cover of this one is from that very morning, when I had the idea, you can tell by my crazy eyes LOL.
By that time I didn't have the second verse and some lyrics were changed on the final version, but you can see how the energy of the song came together almost finished. To this day I don't remember the process of doing it, or what took me there, I just had it inside and that was it. Later in that year I came up with the solo, the second verse, but not much more was changed, I was afraid of losing the vibe. Enjoy!
