Upcoming update progress.

Hi all.

Unfortunately, our team has to notify you that the release of the upcoming update is delayed again.

A week ago we wrote about it in the discord channel, but only now we had a small opportunity to write about it publicly.

If you read earlier about the reasons for the delay in the discord, don't hurry to leave this news, as you will see some additions at the end of this news.

During January and February we had some difficulties.

This is especially true of the scenario of the pool event.

It was very difficult to make it look natural and at the same time not ordinary.

I've said before that for our team, it usually takes almost half of our total development time to write a script.

But I can definitely say that this event is the hardest one I've ever had to write (all the way up to game day 5).

Just yesterday I managed to finish the hardest part of this event. The rest will not take more than a couple of days.

Only a week ago I managed to finish the most difficult part of this event. The rest of the part is being done faster, but due to current events are still in the editing stage.

And despite the fact that the problems with Maksim's eyes are not yet completely resolved, we have ready raw images for almost all of the finished parts of the script. So the work does not stand still.

Also, we want to inform you that the current political situation in the world has not bypassed our team.

Unwillingly, if I may say so, I personally became a participant in this conflict.

In my city, there has not yet been a direct clash of opposing forces.

But I can already see what is happening on the streets of my hometown.

Nevertheless, for obvious reasons, I will not comment on what is happening and how much the reality corresponds to the official Ukrainian version, which is broadcast all over the world.

However, I can only say one thing.

If there is a conflict between two people in everyday life, then in order to understand it properly, it is necessary to hear the opinions of both sides of the conflict ( moreover, from the first hand). And the larger the conflict, the more details you need to learn. If you don't have the opportunity to hear the opinions of both sides, it's worth thinking...

If anyone is interested, in the future I will provide the clearest possible proof that I do live in Ukraine.

We also ask you to refrain from writing comments touching on current political topics around the world.

Anyway, at this point for several days now I have to spend half my time looking for life-saving medicines, food and other things for my family.

However, as we said before, our team is still working on the next update.

We have already shared all possible data about the project with each other to be able to work on the update even in conditions of no internet connection.

Nothing can stop us now... except a power outage ;-)

We understand that you can't wait to see the continuation of your Hot Springs Academy adventure, so we're doing our best, as always, to release a new update as soon as possible.

Despite the impressive development time, the update should be shorter than the previous one, but it will evoke a variety of emotions. However, as always (we hope).

Given that we're obviously not going to release the game in February, those who supported in February and won't be able to support us in March will still get early access through Patreon PMs.

We understand that it's almost nothing, but it's the only thing we can do as an apology for not meeting the expected release date.
