With those reminders done...I did manage to get the second story done for this month! Barely. And I may have set my work on Chastity Quest back by a day to do it. Possibly. And that's actually me legitimately being sure, since it will depend heavily on how much more I can get done tonight. As well as how well or poorly my doctor's visit goes tomorrow (it's a follow up from the problems that put me in the ER a little over a week back, I'm hoping and praying for the best).

Anyway, about the story itself. It's actually shorter than I had hoped for and, oddly enough, it's shortness actually wasn't the result of the time crunch. Rather, it was the result of the subject matter itself proving much harder than I excepted to write. I like the idea I came up with...but a couple of thousand words in I realized that it was going to be dreadfully hard to write from the usual perspective of the story. Unfortunately, by that point, I was already committed. So I did the best I could with it. To be fair to myself, I think it actually came out fairly decently despite struggling with it...it's just shortish. In fact, it's only around 3,600 words :-(. Still, since it's the second story in a very busy month, and I actually LIKE the result (even if I think it could have been better told from Ella's point of view), I don't feel too bad about it.
