I would be happier with Clary and Simon being just best friends but at the moment I think they are each other's safe space in very messed up circumstances. Because they are so young, only 18, they are misconstruing that feeling of safety with romantic love. I love that they are circling the addiction issue out further to how family and people close to the person feel and the frustration of Alec when Izzy refuses his help. Shadowhunters are doing these real world issues very well and relatable.

The unedits for Shadowhunters start from Season 2 Episode 4 but there should be early access for the previous episodes. 1x12, 1x13 are already on YouTube. 2x2 is on here and 2x7 uncut is too. On the one hand they are kind of cute but they seem to be missing that extra something. I think I would much prefer Simon with Maia or Izzy.
