2018-10-24 08:58:05 +0000 UTCYou asked how the new season 11 is going - without spoilers, it is so awesome - a complete refresh of the entire show! Visual effects and production standards so far have been awesome - looks and feels like a movie. Got a lot to look forward to - just keeps getting better!

2018-10-16 22:42:10 +0000 UTCI reckon season 4 is one of the best seasons to date, definitely David Tennant's best.

2018-10-16 18:07:13 +0000 UTCI love the little "You were my Doctor" comment as a nod to actors

2018-10-16 10:55:02 +0000 UTCFun fact 1: This Doctor was David Tennant's favorite when he was growing up, hence all the gushing. Fun fact 2: This Doctor's real life daughter is now David Tennant's wife.

2018-10-16 02:24:36 +0000 UTCThe reason why this mini episode exists is the annual BBC Charity fundraising telethon “Children in Need”. It’s happened every year on a Friday night in November since 1980, and it’s raised literally hundreds of millions of pounds to support children’s charities. To encourage people to give money, the stars of the BBC’s biggest TV shows do some kind of performance - a number from a musical, a comedy sketch, or... like you saw last year with the little scene in between Eccleston leaving and Tennant crash landing for The Christmas Invasion, a new specially-filmed mini episode. Hence Time Crash. A reunion of new Doctor Who with Classic Doctor Who to raise money for charity.
2018-10-16 00:14:01 +0000 UTCEpisode 0 is the Christmas special. What you’ve marked down as episode 1 on your schedule is actually zero. This is just a mini episode

2018-10-15 21:51:52 +0000 UTCThis is just a fun little skit so don't take it to seriously. Buts its still quite fun to see

2018-10-15 21:23:54 +0000 UTCThey had just met on the last season... She was Jenny! Im guessing they must have been dating at this point.... He probably asked Peter if hed be up for doing the special directly! Mx
2018-10-15 20:58:32 +0000 UTCI was gonna comment, and I am, but Lloyd says it all. I love that Davison was Tennants Doctor, as he was mine as well, first one I saw so always have a soft spot for Peter D! Oh, btw, the new season is BEAUTIFUL! Mx

2018-10-15 20:27:06 +0000 UTCP.s. the doctor doesn’t change like Jakes Bond does as in a simple recast. Because of the literal regeneration if he went back in tune and met himself he could meet his older faces.

2018-10-15 20:26:57 +0000 UTCThis is the fifth doctor peter Davison. From the 70s. Fun fact in real life he’s the father in law of David Tennant. The first 3 doctors have passed away. Tom Baker, the 4th is the eldest.

2018-10-15 20:24:43 +0000 UTCThe ability of the Doctor to meet himself is something very special about Doctor Who. In other time travel stories the characters can meet themselves but add in regeneration and DW history has some lovely moments with different incarnations of the Doctor bumping into one another. This special brought that to the modern era. :)

2018-10-15 20:19:55 +0000 UTCThat was Peter Davison, who played the 5th Doctor from about 1981 to 1984. DVid Tennant is the 10th Doctor. At the time, Davison was the youngest actor to play the Doctor (29), and was a little sporty (those are old school cricket creams he wears, and he played cricket in at least one episode - quite a goid bowler). When Tennant says you were my Doctor, he means it. Tennant grew up watching him on TV.

2018-10-15 19:30:10 +0000 UTCDavid Tennant is the 10th Doctor; this guy is the 5th Doctor from years ago. This is just a fun little Comic Relief thing, having the two interact and that. In Old Who, there’d be whole episodes and stories with different incarnations of the Doctor fighting aliens together. Looking forward to S4 Fam!
2018-10-15 19:25:14 +0000 UTCUsually to keep track of each of the Doctors, they're numbered. For instance, Christopher Eccleston was the Ninth Doctor (first one in the revived series but still a continuation of the classic series) and David Tennant is the Tenth Doctor. Peter Davison, who was the other Doctor in Time Crash, played the Fifth Doctor. So yes, they are the same person. There were actually quite a few multi-Doctor stories in the Classic Era, like The Three Doctors and The Five Doctors, with several of the Doctors featured.
2018-10-15 19:24:52 +0000 UTCWas fun seeing your reaction to that! A little taste of classic Who there. The guest in this little short was Peter Davison, the 5th Doctor (Tennant is the 10th). He was the Doctor from 1981-1984. Funny little piece of trivia, Tennant eventually married Davison's daughter.
