In the book Max actually dies. The worst part is, he found out Jonathan's true identity and tried to warn the others, but no one believed him. Jonathan then broke into his house and hit him in the head with a hammer, killing him. Jonathan then did the same to Isabelle, but she survived. She was alone in the house with Max and the only one ho could have protected him, and she ends up blaming herself for not being able to save him. I guess the show decided to change that because killing a child is too horrible.

What I got from the Malec scenes was how much they each grew as individuals as they grew closer as a couple. In the beginning Magnus was very surface, laughing and flip, while Alec was always so serious and grim. But in the final flashback it shows Alec teasing and Magnus looking deeper inside. They really bring out the best in each other.

2018-10-29 03:40:10 +0000 UTCIt was hard to see because it happened so fast, but when Jonathon slammed Max's head he slammed it into the corner of the wooden book thing. If you hit something like that in just the right place it can cause a serious brain bleed. When they shot the scene with Maia's monolouge they hadn't rehearsed it so Alberto (Simon) had never heard it. They did it in one take and he said the same as you, he got goosebumps.

2018-10-29 03:32:42 +0000 UTCWoo were in the finale stretch. There's a lot of storylines to wrap up in two episodes. If I'm remembering right one of my favorite fights happens next episode. I'll leave the rest as a surprise.

2018-10-29 02:19:06 +0000 UTCThis is definitely a fan favorite episode especially for us Malec and Saia fans! The cinematography, the acting, the directing and pretty much everything in this episode was some of the best in this whole series. This episode did I great job with Malec and Maia, with explaining why 1) Malec are attracted to each other and the more intimate moments that we haven’t seen before and 2) why Maia has been as standoffish as she has been

2018-10-28 23:55:21 +0000 UTCAlisha Wainwright is probably the only actor on this show, aside from Alberto Rosende, who 1) hit the ground running with her character and performance, and 2) has absolutely amazing chemistry with everyone. Which explains why Maia and Simon are so incredible in every scene they have together.

2018-10-28 20:53:27 +0000 UTCThe actress that plays Maya is so good, there’s a few times throughout that I’ve been really impressed by her. She delivers her lines really well, like it can be some basic line but she adds a certain flare to it, and the emotional scenes are top notch. I like how Clary is shown to be a badass fighter, because she obviously is, being a Shadowhunter and all, but at the same they don’t ignore the fact that she is tiny, there’s a few examples of that where she gets lifted of the floor or held back easily because she so small. Makes it more realistic.
