UNEDITED EXCLUSIVE: Doctor Who Season 5 Episode 3 REACTION!

I've grown to like this episode and quite like the M&M Daleks now. People don't like change though, DW fans more than most, which is odd given the nature of the show.

I know I’m late, but this is my first time watching this and it seems like a run down version of Power of The Daleks. The second doctors very first episode. Dalek pretends to be helpful Dalek does not recognize the Doctor Dalek make more Daleks in secret Civilization wants to use Dalek for their own needs For Steven Moffat’s first Dalek episode, color me unimpressed.

I’ve never cared for this episode and had always skipped it when rewatching, but there is one thing I appreciate now. At the end when trying to diffuse the bomb in the android, the doctor tried to use sad memories which didn’t work. Amy used happiness and love to represent a human emotion. It’s reminiscent of the previous episode where Amy knew they would be fine since the whale loved the children while the doctor was ready to blow it up. The doctor is having the same problem we usually see when he’s been alone for too long: he’s filled with just a little too much suspicion, misery, and anger. Amy does him a world of good, and I never saw it until this rewatch. Great reaction!!

I always found episode two and three of this season quite forgettable. Never ones I went back and rewatched. Four and five however I really like so I'm excited to rewatch them with you.

Happy New Year! I loved this episode, with the exception of the new and improved Daleks - they were just a bit too chunky for my liking. Good episodes coming (in my opinion) can't wait to join you on this journey! Have a great 2019!

God this episode was a chore... nothing to do with your reaction but I was really really bored. I hadn't watched it since the original showing. I quite liked the daleks - they reminded me of the 1988 Remembrance daleks but everything else about the episode bored the socks off of me. :D

Happy New YEAR!! And thanks for all the great reactions. The cookie’s actually called a Jammie Dodger. In the UK we’re always puzzled by the fact other nations call all biscuits Cookies. In the UK, a cookie is a certain type of biscuit. And not all biscuits are cookies. We have many types of biscuits (all called biscuits) with different names, including Jammie Dodgers, Cookies, Custard Creams, Digestives, Bourbons, Shortbread and many others. Only a very specific type is known as a cookie. So we all have a collective chuckle when people react to Doctor Who and get confused as hell by the different types of biscuits that turn up.

I kind of like the idea of this ep but it didn't really land for me. Pretty lightweight stuff

My least favorite would be the first half of Daleks in Manhattan

I don’t get it, they look great. So much better than the ugly browns and grays. I loved it back in 2010, I still love it now. DW fans are weird though, they also didn’t like the tardis interior and wanted to go back to the coral design, which I thought was drab and depressing.

I'm so glad you actually liked the new power ranger daleks. So many people didn't like them and i felt like one of the only people who did

Personally this is my least favourite dalek story in all of new who. I'm surprised you liked the new design as much as you did, i was expecting the opposite reaction as when this first aired it got rejected so much by the fandom 😂

As far as anti science goes this episode ranks alongside an episode you have not yet seen involving a space chicken (not a spoiler). Not every episode can be great huh. Happy New year all.

I really like this episode (and the next couple). Amy doesn’t remember the planets in the sky from season 4 and presumably the cybermen invasion from season 2. We know from the first episode she can’t really remember her parents and her aunt was weirdly absent. She’s a mystery, Amy is. Love the rainbow brigade of Daleks, but wasn’t so for most of the fans... they threw a fit at the redesign (this is why we can’t have nice things!)
