Just saw this episode reaction on YouTube and had to subscribe for at least this month. Never thought old Failwhale would take on to Twelve so much and so it's time for a re-watch of series 9 with him, my favorite of Capaldi's time.

They were called Bastards from Hell but they changed their name to Dreamboys later. Youl see 12 a lot more fleshed out since Peter got alot more comfortable in the role and started adding few things. Its actually him playing the guitar live.

2019-09-02 13:58:01 +0000 UTCThe reason the tech is all fucked up at the start scene, is because of the war that led to the state of Skaro being a nuclear shithole; they quite literally fought between the 2 species for so long, that they ran out of weapons to use, and because of all the damage and loss of personnel for both species, manufacturing all of the high-tech shit would have been impossible. So basically, the war is more or less running on its last fumes at this point, with people having to resort to shit like bows, while occasionally using the rare few high-tech kit they have left. Basically I think timeline wise, this is the 2nd last stage of the war we see, with the final part of the war being in Classic Who, when Davros is an adult and a literal genius at that point. Edit: BTW, that guitar riff was actually done by Capaldi himself.
