Great reaction to an intense episode of SKAM.. I guess you already know, but there were posted lots of texts messages and insta posts, from the characters through the show. After the last clip in this episode, Isak sent a sms to Eskild "Are you home?" Eskild: "No I'm out, having a beer, whats up?" I:"Everything has gone to hell" E:"Where are you?" I:"On my way home" E: " I'm coming!" If you're ever gonna re-watch SKAM, try read/watch these messages as well. They really give the show an extra dimension.

2018-06-09 09:02:24 +0000 UTCIt's always really interesting to see people's reactions to this episode. When it was airing and we were watching clip by clip, we had so much time after each clip to talk and think about what was going on. You had so much more time to sit with the clues and really add them together. And people who had mental health disorders were saying quite early on that they saw behaviours in Even that they recognised, so I think those of us watching it live and following a lot of the conversations around Skam were more prepared for the ending scene of this episode. I WAS STILL SHOOK. But more about the way it was done and how they managed to portray the feeling and the intensity of it.

2018-06-09 08:55:56 +0000 UTCI just went back to watch if you picked up on what Even said in the scene in the locker room in episode 5, but you cut that out in the regular reactions, and I'm too cheap for the unedited ones. :-D Because in hindsight, that conversation is heartbreaking. Isak is in love and oblivious, so he's just talking about his mother, and saying he doesn't want mentally ill people around him. But that's what Even is keeping a secret from him, so what *actually* happens in that scene is that Even gets completely heartbroken because Isak is rejecting him, and decides then and there to break up with Isak. So the hints are definitely there earlier, but the hotel scene makes it explicit, something is wrong with Even. And if you turn up the volume, there's even an eerie horror-movie-anxiety-inducing soundtrack faintly in the background... Subtle, and creepy as fuck.
