It Takes Two - This item must be attuned to by two creatures to unlock its magical properties.
Til Death Do Us Part. Once attuned to by two creatures, this blade may be used to cast the Ceremony spell, but only selecting the Marriage option. The two creatures attuned to this blade are then bonded together in marriage. You gain the same benefits as the spell normally bestows, along with the following additional benefits, while within 60ft of each other.
Both creatures receive a +1 bonus to their AC and Saving Throws
Both creatures gain resistance to all damage (with one exception detailed below) and damage is divided equally between the creatures if one is ever damaged.
If one of the two creatures is reduced to 0hp but the other is not, the creature has Advantage on death saving throws.
Curse - While attuned to and married by this item, the creatures gain the following negative effects.
Both creatures are Vulnerable to all damage dealt by the other.
Neither creature can gain the benefits of a Long Rest without the other taking a Long Rest as well.
If ever more than 60ft. from one another, the creatures take 1 point of Exhaustion per hour they are separated. This exhaustion is healed after a Long Rest together.
Additionally, attunement cannot be broken (nor can the marriage), unless one of the creatures attuned to the blade dies or a Wish spell is used.
