2024-12-15 19:57:48 +0000 UTCi mean ace literally said that he was looking for luffy, then said that he was looking for his brother.. so you can deduce their relationship from that. Also, it goes "Last name, middle name, first name." since in japanese you start with last name. so Monkey is luffy's last name. and luffy is his first. therefore Portgas, is Ace's last name. The reason they seemingly dont have the same last name will be revealed later. They also both have a D as their middle name which can be reffered to the 'will of D' that kureha mentioned.
