🩷 February Update (sorry i'm late AAAAA) 🩷

This month has just been super overwhelming so sorry I haven't given a February update til now :c I have to just make a numbered list for you guys to not have to read a shit ton of stuff because it's wild!

1.) For those of you who don't have twitter, I explained earlier this month how my vocal recovery is doing better and I'm having more good days (I've had 8 good range days this month), but I'm also under a lot of medical stress due to potentially having a gene my mom had that caused her to have breast cancer very young. I had just gotten a callback explaining the procedure when I made that post on twitter but as of now I've already done the kit and am waiting for the results 🙏

2.) I had an (unrelated to my voice or the potential cancer gene situation) emergency procedure on the 17th 😭 I'm recovering fast and I'm fine but the oxygen mask from the sedation dried my throat out the first few days and I sounded gravelly and was pissed >:( My voice is better now though!

3.) I had to cancel my speech therapy appointment this month because of all this going on, so my next appointment is March 4th and I'll make my March post when I get home or the next day. I should have more info for you guys then as well and see what the next plans are + see if I'm possibly getting a steroid injection soon?

4.) I do have an audio recorded that I recorded off a whim when doing my vocal practicing a couple months ago. I haven't gone over the audio yet because my voice still has fluctuations and I can't guarantee it'll be the most perfect audio on the planet, but if I go over it and the quality is good enough I might post it. I'm a stickler for only releasing stuff I think is as good as it can be and little mistakes upset me so we'll see ;-; If I end up tolerating it and releasing it I'll just make it free because I don't want to make an audio exclusive that's from the middle of my vocal recovery and isn't my best work!

With all that out the way, honestly, with the way my voice is going and the way I've been having more consistent improvements, I have very high hopes that I'll be able to record something of better vocal quality in mid to late March or early April, and if the steroid injection is set in stone it could be sooner and better! We'll see 🙏 Also sorry that this is such a messy post MY LIFE IS SUCH A MESS RIGHT NOW BUT LOVE YOU GUYS
