Also, one minor thing I really like about this episode is how the power of first class mages is hinted at by the two people overseeing the exam casually chilling next to a Stille, meaning that they've been near perfectly suppressing their mana presumably since the test started

2024-09-22 20:53:41 +0000 UTCJust to clarify btw., Denken hasn't ever failed the first class mage exam, he simply never attempted to become a first class mage before since he didn't have any reason to do so before now, that's why Sense (the mage with the very long hair) was speculating about what might have changed for him to finally get off his ass and participate in the exam...

What could be more magical than that? Plane Shift is just going to turn into an Isekai, and who wants that? For a fun movie about a djinn, I highly recommend Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022) with Tilda Swinton and Idris Ilba.

Turning stuff into gold has serious economic implications as well as scrutiny about where I found this perfect gold replica of a broken AC and a perfect gold replica of some shoe boxes... Making pizza is real magic (though I do not think I would want to use magic to do it.)
