I already drew Marie for a commission a while back, albeit cel-shaded, but this one was solicited via a stream.
Pretty happy with the overall result; I'm especially proud of how I was able to do her dress. I also discovered a brush in Photoshop that allowed me to do a convincing splat / blobby effect for the ink / paint variants; very happy with how that worked in conjunction with the smudge tool.

I don't normally like to draw stocks because of how they allow artists to cheat and usually just draw a chest & head above a block of flat colour and some feet just floating in front of it.
So I made sure to try drawing as much of her body as I could without ruining the angle so her soles wouldn't be clear.

I only ever did a coloured piece featuring Luka once before, and when someone pointed out I drew her feet backwards (her legs were crossed and I confused myself) I got quite embarrassed and deleted it. It made me not feel like drawing her again for quite some time.
So I was very happy when the client asked me to draw her for December, and the result was much better than I expected.

I honestly can't believe how well this one came out, at least by my own standards. The boots, her jacket, the variables, I think I really outdid myself with this one! I'd love it if there were a tickling variant of the Gagtalk app, perhaps with randomized conversions to shake it up a bit.

Had a fair bit of fun streaming this one, along with the two coloured commissions I have left to do. I was still experimenting with the new coloured-lines technique; it's far from perfected. I also tried something new - see if you can tell what it is.

The detail in this one practically destroyed my wrist. I was running on pure caffeine after not sleeping for two nights. I tried using much lighter shading on this one, to convey a sense of light from her angelic character, and also tried to build on my new coloured-lines method.

I was wondering when someone would ask me to draw one of these skweeds.
I honestly have no opinion on Splatoon, one way or another. I don't DISLIKE it, but I'm not a raving fan either. It's just sort of... there, and I don't mind it.
It's got a cute aesthetic and a nice soundtrack; I guess I'd have to own a weeyoo to play it.
I even made a fan character just for a laugh, mainly to entertain two people I know who are into Splatoon.
