Page 2 concepts! A bit more refined because I have a lot of fun drawing pussy. I'll be going through and cleaning this one up as I work today but in the meantime enjoy Arabella trying to psyche herself up to eat Anabaa out. 

Rough concepts for pg 1. I'm gonna have a hell of a time trying to refine this one but I'm proud of my layouts for it; this is probably one of the most complex layouts I've done to date.

Another really quick concept about Anabaa's office; front-on from just behind Arabella. The whole thing is pretty huge but I'm just learning how to show scale so bear with me!
Believe it or not it took me 2 hours to figure out the sigil on the desk. I was so particular with it!!
The concepts are nearly done, at this point! I should be beginning the comic soon and I'm deathly excited about it <3

A color-and-lighting study for Anabaa's office. I haven't sold myself on the pale purple shading; I might switch it to something colder but I also don't want to lose the tone I'm setting for the story, so we'll see if it actually changes or not.
Also an Anabaa for scale!

I've had the idea of Anabaa keeping hellhounds around for years, and I'm finally implementing the sooty monsters. They're basically just smoke that envelops a skeletal frame, which becomes more apparent when they move too quickly; the skeleton underneath will show up as all the smoke blows away. There'll be three of these ladies in Anabaa's office for the comic! They're great cleanup for unruly employees~
