Trying New Things — Julia

🇬🇧
Studio session with Julia @juliaxp_photomodel.
I wish I had taken better photos. Especially with someone like her — free-spirited, cheerful, easy to work with. That kind of energy makes a real difference.

But when you’re trying a different approach, testing new setups — not everything is going to work. That’s the deal. You can’t grow if you never push yourself out of your comfort zone.

Still, a few of these frames will definitely stay in my portfolio for a...

What I Keep — And Why

🇬🇧
Just a few old photos from my early days.
Why these? Honestly — I delete most of my older work. Especially when it feels off, flawed, or just in bad taste. I guess I have some respect for what I create and how I show people.

But sometimes I keep a photo. Either because of a killer pose, or because the edit isn’t a complete disaster.
Back then I used to overedit everything. Now I try to keep it simple and natural — unless I’m working with artificial light. Studi...

Apartment & Studio — With Daria

🇬🇧
Two different shoots with Daria @dabrowskadaria_ — one in an apartment, one in the studio. Different days, different energy.

From the apartment session, there’s really just one photo that stayed with me.
She’s sitting in a chair, head tilted, hair falling down, balcony behind her. The light, the body, the look — all of it works.
Without those small elements aligning, it would’ve been nothing special. But they did — and it wasn’t.

In the studio, I fe...

Video BTS with Paula — Talk to Your Models

🎦 New BTS video clip — and a few thoughts on why communication matters.

🇬🇧
While I’m working on the next YouTube video, here’s a short behind-the-scenes clip from my latest studio session with Paula.

One thing I’ll never stop repeating: talk to your models.
I’ve heard so many weird stories — photographers just standing there, breathing heavily, no communication, no feedback, no direction. That’s not how this should work.

Relax. Talk. Exchange ide...

Fur and Pearls — Studio Session with Amber

🇬🇧
This one’s from an older studio session with Amber.
Fur, pearls, soft light — classic setup, classic look. She had that timeless, blonde beauty that worked well in this kind of styling. Maybe a little bit over edited with fake grain and noise.

Photography and Ethics — My Approach

🇬🇧
For most of the time, I’ve had an internal dilemma — not about how good my photos are, technically or artistically — but about whether what I do is right or wrong.
Not in terms of quality, but in terms of ethics.

I’ve talked about it with many people and heard a lot of different perspectives. But when I look at what’s going on online, I still believe this:
I often show women in a more beautiful way than they show themselves.

When I tak...

Studio with Paula — Unreleased Frames

🇬🇧

I keep bouncing between styles. Maybe that’s part of the process — trying things on until something fits well enough to stay.

This one was shot in studio with Paula. Several outfits, different moods. We also played with light a little more freely this time.

It’s funny. I’ve spent so much time trying to define my style, but maybe I just needed to accept that it’s fluid. Still, I feel like from now on, I’ll be more deliberate. Fewer detour...

A Memorable Studio Nu Photoshoot with Alina

🇬🇧
One of my most meaningful nude shoots to date. Alina, a Ukrainian model, posed in soft fur and pearls, surrounded by blue tones. When she saw the photos, she cried. I knew they were good — but her reaction said more than any words could.

This session gave me some of the strongest images I’ve taken in studio, and I know I’ll keep them in my portfolio for a long time.

The Kind of Model You Want to Work With @justwildroses

🇬🇧
I don’t often meet models who take their craft this seriously.
Weronika — @justwildroses — is not only beautiful, but fiercely aware of her body, the camera, and the space in between.

We’ve worked together a few times, but after her recent travels and collaborations with top photographers around the world, something shifted. She came back changed. More precise. More grounded.

You can feel it in every frame.

Shooting a bikini set under a crowded, roaring waterfall with Ania

🇬🇧
Bikini shoot in Bali with Ania, a fitness instructor who trusted me even when she couldn’t hear a word I was saying.
The waterfall was roaring. The crowd? Massive. I was below, showing poses, directing — hoping for the best.

Simple setup. Natural light.
Strong shapes, clean lines, and a body sculpted by discipline.

Bali Bikini Shoot with Jenne @yourjenne

🇬🇧

This one was shot in Bali with Jenne (@yourjenne) — a Russian model and fitness trainer.

It wasn’t the easiest shoot, mostly because of the language barrier. But we figured things out. Sometimes body language is enough. Sometimes you just have to try your best, stay patient, and focus on the work.

In the end, we made it work.

First Time Shooting in Bali (With Ingrid)

🇬🇧

This one was special.

It was my first ever photoshoot in Bali — and something I’d quietly dreamed of for a while. A real beach, real waves, real light. Not a backdrop or a studio set pretending to be one.

Ingrid was the first model I shot with there. We met, we found the spot, and just made it happen.

Sometimes you look back and realize: that was a small dream, and I lived it.

White Lingerie, Dark Background, Good Vibe

🇬🇧

This studio shoot was made with Julia.

We shot it in Studio Lumina with a soft bridal concept in mind. We brought a veil, but ditched it — went with white lingerie only. That was enough.

What made this shoot work was the contrast between her look and the dark studio backdrop. Simple, elegant, and clean.

I also really liked working with Julia — she brought initiative, ideas, and made my job easier. That kind of collaboration always shows in the final images...

Julia – Part III (The One That Got Me a Gig)

🇬🇧

Third and final part of this set with Julia (@julisewka).

This one means something — it ended up getting me a job for Esotiq Lingerie. I think it came down to three things: they liked the model, they liked the studio, and they liked the edit.

These shots are more crisp, with less bloom. You can actually see the product — which, you know, helps when you’re shooting lingerie. They also have a dark, moody, chocolatey tone. Apparently, that’s what the brand was ...

Julia @julisewka – Part II (And Why Location Matters)

🇬🇧

Second part of the studio shoot with Julia (@julisewka).

Same energy as before — clever, confident, and fun to work with. But this time I want to talk about something people often forget: location matters.

It’s not just the model or the outfit — where you shoot changes everything. An elegant studio fits elegant lingerie. Just like a beach fits a bikini. That’s why it works — it makes sense.

Now, imagine shooting fancy Victor...

No Distractions. Just Paula.

🇬🇧

Another shoot with Paula (@trashy_bimb0) — this one’s older, but still holds up.

Her body and her tattoos are a work of art on their own. Shooting on a pure white cyclorama helps keep all the focus where it should be. No distractions, no props, no chaos to manage.

Tattoos already create a pattern. Add too much in the background, and you lose the point. We’re not trying to play Where’s Wally with the model.

Paula in Astra — Before It Closed

This one was shot with Paula (@trashy_bimb0) in Astra Studio — a space that sadly doesn’t exist anymore. It had a nice clean vibe, perfect for what we were going for that day.

The idea was a white bridal theme. We even brought a veil — but it turned out to be too heavy and kept slipping off, so we gave up on it. Still, the mood stayed.

Valentine’s Day, Sort Of - Syliwa

🇬🇧

Sylwia (@syllprzybyla) is one of the people who’ve been around since the early days. She trusted me when I was still figuring things out — and let’s say she still kinda trusts me now, even though I know a bit more.

This shoot wasn’t planned as a Valentine’s Day theme, but that’s how it turned out. A bit of red, a bit of mood. Some say it looks like American Beauty. I say: maybe. But we weren’t copying anything. It just felt right in the moment.

Sandra - Everything in Excess Is Bad, Kids

🇬🇧

Sandra is also a photographer, which made this shoot fun. She even showed me a trick — a ray of light setup that worked great in black & white.

Looking back at these photos, I feel like I overedited them. The more natural they look, the better. That one black and white frame with the blurry coat and a pinch of grain still hits, though. It's iconic.

Now that I’m more experienced, I try to stay away from overediting. Everything in excess is bad, kids.

You will never be fully prepared, so you better start experiencing things on your own and see on your own skin (or models skin in that case) how things work.

Luckily for me there is a very welcoming studio with awesome people ready to help and explain things. That is why their studios are often booked.
